"Candidate" is a derivative of the Latin "candida" (white). Q. Why the lies, rumors and random comments based on nothing? Racist, sexist, and even people saying stuff about candidates that I don't even like. Why is there so much hatred against certain candidates, particularly Clinton, Obama and McCain? I can say something positive about all of the candidates regardless if I am voting for them or not. Why try to bring others down with lies instead of maintaining integrity? Many people will say "it's politics" and I agree to an extent. But when the put-downs overshadow the issues, that is where I draw the line.
